Automating your resume is a bit of a rite of passage for new software engineers. It just feels like a stupid repetitive task. I've found that I change job summaries so often, that automating it was a net negative in time spent on the t

I guess you missed the part where I said that it is better for the child. Reducing my argument to "income/societal optimization stuff" is arguing in bad faith.

I would not say that the child gets a wider variety of experiences in child labor compared to child care. Child care is explicitly designed to have a variety of activities for children. Child labor is the low skill kind with lots of repetit

It is better for everyone, and it does not devalue child-rearing at all. It is better for the family: - it has more resources - it has more income diversification It is better for the father: - he doesn't have to carry the weight

Lombok uses the annotation processor to bootstrap itself. That particular part of Lombok is uncontroversial and is in fact well-documented and used by other tools. The parts of Lombok you have an issue with are not impacted by this change.

To be fair, if the documentation isn't meeting the users' needs it is poor documentation. One of my more tongue-in-cheek maxims is that too much documentation is worse than too little. With too much documentation the information
