Many of them can telecommute. Many companies can set up a smaller satellite campus - even if its a few desks in NH. Companies need to see where people are commuting from and set up a small office to capture those people. Who thinks it'

If I use 74 tons of 24 karat gold to create one plant - I don't care much about how much gold is in the plant. I care about how much less gold I have now.

I agree - college is a filter - not a tech tree. In engineering school you solve problems similar to industry - but its more the difficulty than the similarity. New grads can handle the difficulty your job provides. If you train them - the

I think things like folding and cameras on phone isn't why you go out looking for a phone. It's just to nudge you towards their product when you're given the choices.

To be honest I already thought programs like waze partnered with local metro area governments to reduce traffic. Guess I was wrong. Open up an API for governments to drop in temporary blockers in the map (with appropriate lead-up times too

I think they should call them gatherer-hunter lifestyles. The bulk of calories for paleo/neo-lithic people came from stuff that didn't run away.

This stuff is good - but it's penny wise. Agriculture is outright wasteful of water. California agriculture consumes 80% of the state's water. https://water.ca.gov/Programs/Water-Use-And-Efficiency/Agric
