JavaScript is effectively deprecated next to TypeScript. You’ll see some projects in the middle clutch to “type annotated” JavaScript but it’s not popular. Most JS is untyped and on its way out.

The respected and socially competent engineer should always fulfill the traditional PO obligations. I believe the buzzword for this is Product Engineer, even though that’s roughly what agile was supposed to be to begin with… The problem wit

Well I wouldn't have called it, but I think Meta is in the lead. They beat Apple to AR and affordable VR. Their AI tooling has basically caught up to OpenAI and at this rate will pass them - is anyone else even playing? Maybe their wor

I’m honestly just waiting for someone to add Rust bindings for Electron (instead of gluing Node to C++ in the main process, and using WASM for the renderer process instead). Someone may ask why - simply to have options. Tauri is great but t

Most technical debt is imagined at lower experience levels. Shitty and brittle code is not inherently debt - it’s only debt if you have to pay it back to get something else you want. Otherwise it’s “free money”. Debt is garbage that fights

If I’m understanding correctly can’t you lock on some other account criteria, like IDs? A Mutex does have to own the data but you can still decide what it owns. When you lock, the returned MutexGuard is owned, so you can pass it around or r
