Thank you! I used the key words "Doodle of X. Black and white using ink." Sometimes removing the "ink" part helps. And make sure X is not too detailed.

These are just a simpler abstraction, even though similar to the others. They enable a bunch of other use cases we'll implement on top. We believe layers (in the way we envisioned them) to be the ideal abstraction.

Yes, it does. It’ll work with anything you can write a Terraform file for. In the case of Kubernetes, for example, you can use the Kubernetes provider or even just Helm to deploy your pods. Great idea to add ECS/Serverless specific exa

Indeed, we've seen that happening very often. I lost count of how many times I've seen developers have a Slack or Discord channel to coordinate who's gonna using staging/dev and when. Please let me know if you need any h

Thanks! We really appreciate the in-depth feedback. Indeed, we've seem many people building similar alternatives using in-house solutions on top of Kubernetes. In fact, that's the main barrier to adoption we've found so far.

Thanks for flagging it. I use the light mode myself so I hadn’t noticed it. I’ll go ahead and update the text color for the dark theme versions.

Thanks! As one of the co-founders, I really appreciate that you think it could solve your problem. Looking forward to seeing how you'll use it. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if we can help in any way.

Hi, everyone, Yesterday, HashiCorp switched Terraform's license from MPL to BSL. In short, that makes them a "source available" company, not a truly "open source company". The problem with this change is that the BS

It’s really interesting when someone takes contributions under the MPL license for years only to relicense later under a restrictive license. IMO they should just avoid open-sourcing the cloud platform if they want to sell it. Also, why not

I think one argument that’s missing from the article is how that impacts foreign policies. What about competing with foreign giants, for example? China probably won’t break up their large companies, and, in a global market, those can then u

I'd say it's pretty much standard. Copyright is a form of IP and thus companies usually require you to assign it to them. It'll probably come up in every future due dilligence. I don't know whether it's enforceable,

Congratulations Zeno! What an awesome launch, really excited for you and the team at Resend. Once we go for an email provider here, Resend will definitely be the first option.

Definitely true. That's something my co-founder talks a lot about. If you just stick at it for a few months, projects get huge. It's incredible how much code gets written when you look 6-months back. If you had to look forward and

I wonder whether there's a correlation between how much people care about somewhat small issues and the quality of Rust. Although I think this saga is a bit too dramatic, maybe that's why Rust is such a great language: people care

Thanks for pointing that out. Although I do think DORA metrics make some sense, it seems like an unnecessary framework considering what the folks in queueing theory have done over the years. Anyone claiming we need to invent our own metrics

I think it's not that bad for this to be the default. To be honest, people should've never used `.dev` for testing in the first place, given that IANA has reserved the `.test` domain specifically for that. By making HTTPS the defa

I’d agree with you that a sabbatical would be ideal. However, I’d say it’d be interesting if you make it a somewhat “active” sabbatical. In your place, I’d read, exercise, or just dig deeper into something I’m interested in. Personally, whe
