It happened to me about 6 years ago with a $650 camera I I bought from Amazon Marketplace. There wasn’t anything wrong with it, something was missing from the box. So I called Amazon and explained and they refunded the money before I knew

I appreciate what he was trying to do but his installation didn’t look safe, with apparently no attempt to do it to code. He wouldn’t feel too clever if they led to injury. Slipping on steps hurts a lot more than slipping on a muddy slope.

It’s possible to use pointers successfully without understanding them fully - (having a sense of) incomplete knowledge can frustrate the learning process. Spending time dropping down to assembler to learn a few variations of MOV or looki

The ability to track multiple objects doesn't necessarily mean it's any good at integrating a solution. My camera can track multiple faces and smiles - that doesn't mean it can take better photos.

I loved that set. The differential was a magical thing to 7 year old me. I rigged up a handbrake using two rack gears that squeezed a gear on the end of the drive shaft. It definitely spurred my interest in engineering.

Your numbers sound about right to me. I use 25g per mug. There's around 450g/lb so 18 mugs per lb. That's pour over with a Chemix.

Don't drive 250km/h if you cannot see the traffic ahead. It's a public road. No speed limit != no responsibility.

I'm far from convinced that the people buying 40,000 Ford F150s every 3 weeks are doing it for mobility and they're just dying to take a "taxi" everywhere instead.

I doubt 0-60 time cracks the top 5 of most people's wants when they are buying a car. The fixation on this is odd. I see plenty of Teslas and very fast imports around here in north CA but they always seem to be taking it easy...
