Electrical is inadequate power delivery-wise and requires completely different cookware to the point that it's a different cuisine. For example to replicate a gas burner you have to have above 15KW continious power. Good luck wiring th

about the same idea as nipkow disk nowadays when people don't want to go the rotating led bar way, which requires very high density led strips (hundreds of ~200-400 mil smd leds) and the accordingly complex control circuitry (basically

There were things like BLIZZARD 603e+ that you could just plug into an A1200. And it would still run 68K code on "companion" 040/060 http://www.phase-5-digital-products.com/TheLegacy/amiga/b603...

By my own admission I wrote ~100K loc in zig-head. Having a background in linux kernel development of all things I can tell you that Zig is so much better than C or Rust, that I think linux kernel rush to rust is misguided.

This is so for A500, but the definitive Amiga is A1200 with 68EC020, AGA and only limited by 24 bit address bus (=16 MB ram). From that on people just installed 030 with MMU and later PPCs if they wanted.

Use cats. For all great Logi ergonomics, they fall prey to cat hair; and pads cover the screws, so they can't be reassembled pristine after cleaning. Still, M500s is the best.

I would have preferred a Forth on my C64 seriously. But no, we were stuck with this "38911 bytes free" crap.

Cut by multiple bend, strip by teeth, curl enough to catch, insert, pull, twist. Do you feel you need a write-up on how to piss in the woods too?

C7 is great advice. But also pack a short length of cat5 twisted pair just in case. When all else fails, it allows to rig up most anything.

There were ethics in veganism? Since when? It was always a religious movement, all the way back to Vedanta. A way to set yourself apart and then maybe feel better for not being "like those others".

There isn't an exact quote from Douglas Adams, you have to read it all, but he put the point marvelously: reality is scary, unlimited and lovecraftesque, and we have filters to avoid that. Only when you master those filters you can con

The question is -- why they even need to verify ages of users. This is not decided, and my take is that they do not.
145.
by lstodd 3mo ago
"government" age verification app will be made and maintan ed by some corp anyways. so it will gather extra data, sell it sideways and leak like hell. (as they already do with all the data they already have)

What is more fun is that it reacts with water (and all air has some moisture) which then leaves hydrogen to catch fire and explode. One can replace air with pure nitrogen for example, but that complicates things.
