Well, considering best german automotive engineering got left behind in early nineties and that for like 20 years already owning a BMW or Mercedes means constant hassle and tons of cash for trivial repairs - yes. German auto engineering jus

I'm not sure why this distinction has any right to exist. (as "in between casual sellers and people who sell as a recurring source of income")
757.
by lstodd 4y ago
Etsy was never about casual sellers by your definition. Ebay might have been in some ancient history, but not for last 15 years at least. All this crap does is to introduce more friction into markets which very much don't need this bul

20K rev divided by 200 sales is $100/sale. We dıd about $200-$300 on an margin of about 2%, we got like $1K profit, which considering how much went into "capital" as in buying tools and learning how to use them becomes very n

Etsy isn't a garage sale. When we with my ex started selling handmade stuff there, we had revenue above 20k in the first year knowing almost nothing about anything. Mind you, handmade isn't IT, margins are thin. Yes, we had that a

Anyone saying that 20K year revenue is a "high-volume business seller" is out of his mind (this might be sponsored though).

I lived for a few years in a place where no word is taboo. What you don't realize is that when no word is taboo people tend to invent nontrivial sequences, or entire monologues to regain and further enhance the effect. Which I think is

Cheap solution: lots of warmed to ~40C 0.05% Chlorhexidine. Idk, but I bet it's cheaper than that Debrox thing, and almost nil chance of infection.

Haha lol. I maybe still have a screenshot of a Forgotten Beast killing himself by kicking up a dead cat's tooth (the cat was killed by some previous FB) (and the tooth deals a fatality). The level of detail is amazing.

What is more spectacular than even the Dwarf Fortress itself (and it is), are the C++ reverse-engineering tools developed in Common Lisp back in 2010-s. DFHack and Dwarf Therapist were rebased on top of them.
