I don't know but agree it's unreadable and terrible, so I don't bother to read them.

Indeed, I agree with all this. The trick is finding a balance, as a friend once told me the sweet spot is "as little process as possible, as much process as necessary".

The comparison to Black Lives Matter rioting is important. I find it very bizarre that the media correctly calls these idiots rioters, but they call the Black Lives Matter idiots doing the same sort of thing protestors.

Same for me. Other than an ASCII smiley here or there, if I can't say it with simple text as a complete sentence, I don't say it, and video chat backgrounds are annoying.

I tried a few of these apps but I wasn't really learning anything. Eventually, I found pianote.com and I couldn't be more happy - it's worth checking out as another option for online piano learning (they also have drum and gu

This is not correct. I work for a CA based company. I work from home in a different state which is my legal residence. I do not file or pay CA taxes.

It's still 2020 and actually I find 1920x1080 to be plenty sufficient in a 15" laptop.

Actually it seems more like the EFF had nothing to do with it at all and the unit test patch is the reason it was restored - just like Github says in the blog entry.

I've found cheap Chinese replacement cartridges on Amazon for my Brother color laser that come with the chip. Not that it's hard to move the chip over, but the price was the same as ones without the chip. Hopefully firmware update

My Brother color laser is running the latest firmware and works just fine with knockoff Chinese toner carts that cost about 1/4 what Brother charges.

Which is why I buy the Chinese cartridges from Amazon that are 1/4 the price and work just as well.

Exactly. Don't use an open ended license and then complain about it. If you want to restrict use, then license it appropriately. Very simple and obvious.

Of course it has, now that Apple owns it. Open source is not consistent with Apple's culture.

Never used Zapier, but IFTTT is too simple to really be useful as you can't do much with it. I had a few actions, but not after they announced it's not really free anymore.

I've used RealCalc for a few years. I paid a few bucks for the "plus" version. It hasn't been updated in years, but that's fine with me because it just plain works.

I switched from Firefox to Brave about 5 weeks ago, after Firefox released the new Android version that is unusable. I don't want to use different browsers on different platforms - I want my Linux, Windows, and Android all the same bro

You have to remember that in the Apple reality distortion field there is only Apple. I think you get thrown out of the cult if you acknowledge other things exist.

I do search and rescue, and it is amazing how out of date the USFS maps are. The "2016" revision shows roads that haven`t existed in decades. Even the MVUM map is wrong in similar ways, and it`s supposed to be the source of truth.

Absolutely. I've had both and the Neato is much better than the Roomba. The way I look at it - it's as if the Roomba was designed by students that just took a class on chaos theory and watched Jurassic Park, where the Neato was de
