Sometimes copyeditors fix really subtle problems, sometimes copyeditors fix really obvious problems. This should help fix the obvious problems, and make their time better-spent!

This is silly. Just go southwest a few miles. There is, for instance, a flat steps from the London Overground in South Norwood ( http://www.zoopla.co.uk/to-rent/details/30891717 ) that is going for £400/month (

Yes, if you have no backups, and never restore from your backups, and just rely on a free service keeping all your things for you for all time, things might go awry.

Interestingly, the ease of reasoning about flow control when pulling data from a source, versus pushing it to a destination, is one thing that can make reasoning about Haskell space usage particularly tricky.

A 50x speedup is pretty cool in its own right. Kudos. However, I wonder if this isn't treating a symptom versus a root cause. Is saving that 5s round-trip so common in your workflow that you needed to optimize it, and would it be more

As long as you have Silent Text, you can still have asynchronous textual communication. It's when async text leaves their own apps that things get tricky.

If it's a limited number of states in the automaton, and a limited amount of "tape" in the canvas, it's not a Turing machine, it's a Finite-State Automaton, which is easy to analyze for loops.

I'll consider land use complaints from Miwok and Ohlone, but I'm not sure how "my neighborhood is different from how it was 15 years ago" is a valid concern. A vibrant city can't be a museum.

If each object is a megabyte, you could stick them on microSD cards packed in a cube as tall as an adult. (1 card is 0.11cm x 0.15cm x 0.01cm, 32GB. 32k objects, 31.2M cards needed. 165 cm x 165 cm x 165cm = 110 * 150 * 1650 cards = 27.2M.
