This is just ridiculous. This goes way beyond what they originally intended with stopping suspected IP Theft or backdoors by Huawei. This is a black day for academic progress and research in general.

Due to them easily being able to push code without much hastle using Studies, I think this is an elegant-ish solution to a problem that shouldn't even have happened (expired certs are something that's entirely avoidable), but erro

Because you maybe want something like pfsense to run with some filter rules, or you may want a long term VPN connection, which even with AES-NI Instructions still requires substantial CPU power for high speed connections.

Thank you. From the Pocket stuff over Cliqz debacle to the Mr. Robot thing that went really wrong, i'd like to see Mozilla focus on their core product more, and less on any sort of auxiliary thing. I would love to have somebody correct

On my Win10 system, that directory is ~600mb, ~300 files and 17 directories. Not advocating for this system, I just don't think it's that much of a problem.

Wait, 20 to 40 dollars per click of an ad on google search results? Am I understanding that correctly? If so, that seems insanely expensive even for the guarantee that you're getting a potential customer.

I recall from somewhere that the team behind Carmack (Tom Hall, Romero, etc) chose the brown palette since it looked best within the theme, given the color constraints. I have no source, sadly.
