Are you for real? This website has been around and has looked more or less the same since the late 90s. The claim that jwz invented the green and black color scheme is probably the strangest thing I’ll read all day. Also, what’s the first p

I think it’s perfectly reasonable to question the degree to which bias plays a factor in one’s reception to just about anything.

It’s really a great book, especially if you grew up playing old shareware games. I generally won’t read a book for entertainment unless it manages to hook me within the first few pages. I read the entire book in a single sitting, I was so c

There’s definitely a big difference once you’ve actually watched one. You can create a new profile and see it for yourself. Or at least, this was the case the last time I attempted to verify.

What I hate about Netflix’s recommendations is how if you watch any standup comedy special, Netflix decides that you’re a huge, undiscerning standup fan and recommends all standup comedy to you, forever.

I’ve always had a hard time taking the EFF seriously because of stuff like this. They often seem to be motivated more by fear than reason. And while that’s maybe not entirely out of place given the nature of privacy and digital freedom, it

Health insurance is a benefit offered by some employers to some employees. And the data clearly shows that the drop in employment has not resulted in a corresponding rise in health insurance coverage, which just adds further evidence

I started reading “Masters of Doom” in my school’s library on a break between classes, and I ended up reading the whole book from start to finish in a single sitting.

Verbose? It’s an assembly language — of course it’s verbose. That’s what makes it low level . Are you sure you’re not confusing the code that the author uses to demonstrate running inline code from JavaScript with the wasm code itself?

If you think the American people aren’t concerned with the rampant fuckery taking place at all levels of our government, then why are you even talking? You don’t know a damned thing about our concerns.
