It is all about use case. SD cards are a bad idea for a swap heavy primary storage solution but a great solution for storing large amounts of data that you write rarely but read often - like a music, video or other media collection. Somethi

I don’t have personal experience with it but I think TimeScaleDB is worth investigating. It is a Postgres extension. The founder is an academic and a really nice person who managed to build a really great community.

Your problem isn’t lack of marketing, it is the false assumption that you have product market fit. With 13% monthly churn customers are telling you they either don’t really care about the problem you solve or they don’t value your solution.

I genuinely don’t mean to be snarky but I don’t think the method of soliciting donations is at all relevant here. It sounds like you would have otherwise been fine if he handed out a hat and asked for cash in USD.

A few years ago I supported a Kickstarter project for a paper notebook that may be a great fit for your needs. The Rocket Book is a wire bound paper notebook that has icons on each page and a mobile app. When you take a picture of a page wi

It seems like Trump’s immigration stance has evolved significantly in the seven years since this article was written. A few weeks ago he appeared on the All-in podcast and promoted the idea of giving green cards en masse to foreign students

I love much of Chomsky’s writing as he opened my eyes in powerful ways, especially wrt media bias. I would however hesitate to call him an anarchist after hearing his comments about the unvaccinated during Covid.

This statement is factually incorrect. The OSI didn’t even exist when the term was invented by Christine Peterson on February 3rd, 1998. It is true that she was looking for a term to replace “free software” with something more akin to free
