Makes no sense to me either but since Motorola is a US company as well, MS might have found an opening. Banning Windows sales in entire Germany is no child's game, if enforced and then reversed Motorola might go bankrupt. Simple as that.

I am trying to see what MS will get for this. Content for it's devices (xBox, tablets, phone)? A settlement with B&N agreeing to pay something, even a penny, so the anti-Android patents aren't questioned? Either way, it must great to pa

To those expecting Dropbox to meet Google's prices, they might not be able too. Google can easily lose a fortune in this until Dropbox and other small players go bankrupt.

We need a plugin that automatically encrypts everything before it goes to the cloud and then decrypts it when we download. So when the subpoena start to rain our data is safe regardless of what Microsoft or Dropbox are forced to do by the

On one hand MS's huge cash cow can hide so many horrible decisions, but as a company they are doing great. Especially for a "dead" one. According to some bloggers they should have been decomposed by now but they are making almost $25 BILLIO

Dubai and other micro-states are very susceptible to demographic changes for one and that's very serious. Also a lot of rich (legit and shady) types go there followed by secret services. Dubai will take their money http://www.guardian.co.u

Someone wake me up when we're talking about real money. Now the investors think that Evernote is only worth 3-10 times the valuation they bought in...or around $3,000,000,000.00 to $10,000,000,000.00

is the entire Oracle argument, so far, that you can use Java, but can't cut and paste the APIs done by Oracle /Sun engineers? With what I've read, Google sure thought they needed a licensing agreement

Having a reasonable end of life on support never hurt apple. Just because the iPhone is doing great, doesn't mean businesses and other slow movers avoid Apple because of this. My point is, we don't know if this hurts Apple or not.

Not if they paid most with FB stock valued at around $100 billion. Some caveats apply I'm sure, but I have a feeling FB will trade around $100 billion. Whether it's a good investment at $100 b or not it's a different matter, and people can
