I haven't checked it out yet, but... Wouldn't one not want html text in the feed, if one chose to use a blogging platform whose focus was text and simplicity? I prefer to read feeds with plain text myself.

Low bandwidth could be a feature. You'd know that your winking product can't be sending a whole lot of information about you that way. Or at least it would take a while to do so.

I think of web3 in a different way than I see it commonly talked about. I think the idea behind the changes in the Internet that people identified as "Web 2.0" was that the Internet was opening up to more people with the creation

Ugh. Why braces ( { } )? That's the biggest tiny pain of using awk. It's an odd stretch for my fingers to type them and I have to look down to be sure I hit them right.

Only a web programmer could believe that man pages "just aren't used that often". It drives me nuts when compiled cli programs don't have a man page. It says to me that the author of the program doesn't know Unix co

I'd second that recommendation. I live just down the road in Wilmington, NC. I would love to move to the Triangle area. There's so much of everything there. But I like my job here in Wilmington and instead of 4 hours to the ocean

I can't see an email or button being any different than the telephone. I would prefer being able to cancel online. But I don't see forcing companies to offer that as being all consumer protectiony.

I just cancelled SiriusXM earlier this week. They asked why and I said I just don't listen to it enough. They offered a month of a different package free. I said no. And that was it.

Forgive my ignorance, but doesn't your story demonstrate that the law was not necessary in that case? Since the problem was corrected without it? Or am I missing the point?
