Well, they had great sports games; which didn’t matter to me at all, superior console ports of arcade games, and, of course, Sonic. And then they utterly failed to launch a major original Sonic title for the console. shakes head

Oh, fantastic! I love reading everything about this period of history. The Saturn is my person favourite console and I greatly enjoy writing homebrew for it. If you haven’t, and this is of interest to you; check out JO-engine, a fantastic F

Talk to your Mother before it’s too late. I lost mine last summer and today is heartbreaking. All of the times I could’ve spoken to her, or made a difference in her life, are flashing before my eyes today, and it’s a sad go. You don’t know

My feet and overall posture have thanked me relentlessly from my choice to spend $50-100 more on footwear every year or so since I have started buying Nike shoes. I mean, the difference is literally night and day from when I used to just gr

This certainly has not always been the case. Nintendo lost money on consoles same as SEGA and everyone else.

Was about to say this. I was with the OP through to ‘I tried it on three computers,’ and when they specified the OS on those computers were three variants of •nix, I laughed a little. A much, much more fair/reasonable comparison would’

The lack of transparent PNG support was awful for a while. I believe IE8, maybe even IE7 supported it, but IE6 was still everywhere in the wild at the time, and your site could look strange without transparent PNG support. I’m honestly grat

I completely agree, and can’t understand the downvotes. I’ve felt this way for years at HN, and a paywalled article is a great way to get me to just hit ‘back’, or open it in Private mode and read it anyway. If there’s a tag at least I’d kn
