Hey - this is massively lame in that it’s a huge spoiler for a series I have been working through. Honestly - super lame that there was no warning on that. Top comment, too. :( A downvote for you.

Animation is the next frontier. In this demo, most still frames could often easily be confused with a still frame from one of the films. Blown away, there. You're so right about the lighting, models and textures being virtually indisti

...'The Matrix' is based off a real-life movie. If they are trying to make a game based off that universe, with the same actors/actresses, why would they not aim for the most realistic possible portrayal possible? Your statem

I have an incredibly unique project that I'm honestly very proud of, and very surprised how far I've managed to get with on my own. For better or worse, that project is going to require a decent budget to organize, as hardware is

Again, I stated use whatever toolchain you'd like - it's really the fact that we're not limited to 2MB RAM that matters. Unity just works for me. Whatever works for you is great. I have never once found the 'Unity-verse&

The PS1 is extremely limited in terms of hardware. This is about liking the aesthetic but being able to create without the limitations the PS1 put on us. The PS1 has 2MB RAM. The average consumer laptop these days has 8GB. My dev laptop has

I actually sought out techniques to do very similar in Unity for a Saturn/PS1 inspired 3D platformer I’m developing. It’s such a cool aesthetic, I’m surprised it hasn’t ‘caught on’ yet as a modern design fad.

It's a lot of what m.wikipedia.com looks like, actually. Just hitting m. on any given Wiki article on a Desktop makes it so much easier to read in my experience. YMMV. :)

It’s broken on Dark Mode. Needs an extra bit of CSS to determine whether it’s in dark mode or not. The top example is just a GIF, so that's whatever - but the bottom example, which is actual text using this CSS trick, flickers white in

I would like a similar list for e-scooters. Does anyone here happen have recommendations for solid and - importantly - affordable e-scooters? I’m in the market, but clueless as to what actual quality models are.

I am not fucking surprised. Where else - ever - in the Genesis classic Sonic games did you ever have to use up or down to move an item? Also, IIRC; it wasn’t in the manual.

There was only one time I sincerely considered calling a tips line. It was this stupid barrel in ‘Carnival Night Zone’ in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - if you ever played the game; you know what I’m talking about - and I later wondered if it was l

Couldn’t agree more. Flash with Macromedia felt like a real piece of software that passion and care went into. It was a joy to use. As soon as Adobe grabbed it, it just became a shell of what it had been. Honestly sad to see. :(

…really? You realize that virtually every system ran off a command line interface - and the idea of virtually drawing so simply was very novel to start - to erase so simply actually implied a change of art entirely over to the digital era.
