I work for a major bank in Canada; we are one of the largest companies in Canada, and we use storyboards. We are very serious about the work we do. We are also working on SwiftUI stuff as well.

I’m baffled as to how this has been so downvoted. It’s just a fact. Been using SwiftUI for two-some years and while I use it for prototyping, when I actually want to get ‘real’ things done, I go back to UIKit quick as a bolt of lightning.

That’s missing the forest for the trees. The outrage here is that they violated our basic rights as Women by suddenly overturning a law with no warning or input from citizens. The further outrage is that they’re actually being revolting eno

Thank you for a considerate, well-thought-out response. I know people are downvoting me because they’re from the USA and they’re likely not ready for the truth. They can choose to be ignorant. I can pretty much guarantee no woman I know wou

Unfortunately, the art direction is literally borderline offensive to those who grew up with the game; and is just, subjectively, brutally ugly. It’s difficult to fake a positive response when you take something with such charm and turn it

I dunno; minus the lack of true multitasking (which the iPhone, too; originally lacked), OG PalmOS got really close, especially for the time. By the time we got the HandSpring with it's removable/exchangeable extensions like GPS

Weird take; I wonder what an alternate universe where the Jaguar didn’t rival the Saturn in terms of difficulty to develop for would look like. I’m aware this wouldn’t have solved the other issues - such as the desperate need for a ‘Killer

I was happy to read[0] that the OS was indeed named after the so-bad-it’s-good cult film ‘Plan 9 From Outer Space’. [0] http://catb.org/~esr/writings/taoup/html/plan9.html

Isn’t Zig…not really production-ready? I was under the impression it was still a bit of an experiment. I’m aware of people using Rust in production on large-scale systems, but not Zig.

This is what we call a 'tenuous' connection, rather than a direct connection. It is not a result of the intention behind the art , which is the message. 'Run the Jewels' is objectively political music. 'Pussy Riot&

What the hell is political about some random instrumental lofi track? To claim no art can be apolitical indicates either your field of view of art is massively limited in scope or that you just haven’t experienced enough art.

Simply watching ‘Dragon’s Den’ will reveal how ludicrously passionate people are about some of the worst ideas. I don’t really agree with the article, though. If it’s not achieving the results you want, it doesn’t inherently mean it’s a b

The problem is that because they can't be upgraded, they are no longer 'perfectly good'. I recently was donated a 2010 MacBook Air with 4GB of RAM, and a paltry 128GB SSD. What the hell is anyone supposed to do with that?!

Thank you so much for this in-depth explanation. I understood that MPEG-4 had something to do with DivX, but could never understand why 'regular' media players couldn't interpret the files. This explains it!
