Genuinely interesting comment, but not really an answer to OP's request for applications.

I always thought TUI stood for "terminal user interface", though I guess "text" makes sense. First sentence of the Wikipedia article has both. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Text-based_user_interface

I understand you to be reading this as progressive, whereas I see it as the opposite: if you rent land but do not have the money to pay (for whatever reason) the rent still has to be paid.

Glad that you led with having made SumatraPDF, I love that app and it's a big recommendation for me.

I also grew up in Johannesburg, and really miss those trees. When you drive a little bit out of the city you see a completely different landscape. However I'm sceptical about the author's claim that there's no downside. I wou

You're not wrapping it in elisp. You can just write matplotlib in a code block, evaluate it, and pop out an image to your buffer.

They did recently (last 6-12 months) add virtual backgrounds to Meet in FF, and it feels fine now. That said I only use Meet on FF and Safari so maybe I don't know what I'm missing out on.

Change the font of a PDF without the source? Sure buddy, just give me a research team and five years. Edit: Whoops, apparently this is trivial. TIL.

I love iTerm2. It has a gazillion features, most of which I don't want and never use (but I love the small subset I do use). I saw the new AI stuff on the release notes, thought, "ugh, lame, I'll never use that", and mov

I read The Sot-Weed Factor earlier this year. It's a fascinating book, very funny and playful and connected to Maryland history. But none of the postmodern experimentalism of Giles Goat-Boy.
