Everything can be reduced and reused if you're willing to spend enough money. But obviously you have to recycle if the other options are too expensive. Environmentalists seem to forget that spending money is itself a waste - a waste of

How will they get those extra comments to be seen? They still have to log in and get past captchas and all the same issues that bots have always faced. Humans create a crushing volume of crap already and we already have ways to hide that fr

Rather, chemists constantly miss opportunities to use actual numbers instead of their lazy legacy mole nonsense. Nobody really seems to use SI prefixes beyond peta or occasionally exa. But they could have called this 900 zetta-flop. (10^4 p

What difference does it make? The world is already full of humans who pollute comments and articles. They're not limited in their rate of production of words because there are far too many of them for anybody to read. They're limi

That word oxidization or oxidation is really misleading! It's not that the atmosphere was oxidized but the opposite - CO2 was reduced to produce free oxygen molecules. I think it should be called "oxygenation" instead.

Obviously the choice of name wasn't made by the beer. It must have sounded like a good name too. Homer Simpson's alias Max Power came from a hairdryer but that wasn't the point of it.

Those regulations exist specifically for the purpose of keeping property prices high. That's what people actually want because they already own property and want to profit by restricting the supply to others as well as keeping the riff

Bush caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people with the Iraq war, and you're upset about some tweets?! Why do people have such a distorted view of right and wrong?

The FAQ and tweet are clearly the wrong way to communicate such vital information. Neither are required instructions for students. The FAQ is explicitly labeled as being for educators, not students. Neither explains the consequences of doin

Stop this "bad information gets people killed" nonsense. You can justify any kind of censorship with that. That's what China does too. If they allow protests, they'll get violent and people will get killed. If the govern
