+1 for using a recruiter. I used to think that it was for scrubs. Then after trying one, so many interviews and doors opened, and then after I got a couple offers, they even negotiated a higher salary for me ( playing one offer against the

I just transferred mine over to AWS. For some reason I never knew they even did domains, and always bothered with Namecheap and Google.

Guess I'm not smart lol. The 6/9 ambiguity actually crossed my mind when adding it up but I thought surely they wouldn't be fucking with us that much.

H2 has quite heavy use in production too. For example Apache Ignite uses it as the core of it's distributed SQL engine. Ignite takes a distributed SQL query and splits it up into single node queries, which are executed on each node by

Open source core, paid premium features + support. It's a valid business model, not sure why it's worthy of eye rolling. For example: Open source database that works on one machine. If you like it and want want to scale up, you ca

To me the most ironic part was calling CRUDController clever in the first place. There could have been clever solutions to reduce the code repetition, but using inheritance to force a naive abstraction on every future programmer isn't

Why use brave if my info is already being leaked by third parties? E.g. experian. Is it worth the inconvenience and their repeated tricky attempts at monetizing their security conscious niche? Not being facetious, just a real question from

Not sure how other schools do it but UIUC has an engineering CS path and a more math based CS path. I took the engineering path and then became an engineer, it was great.

Very useful. Something like this but for Flink’s fancy temporal, lateral, interval, and window joins would be great too.

While Fleet is still a JVM app at it's core, it's true that it apparently no longer uses Swing for the UI components. Instead they seem to have reinvented that wheel with their own UI component library called Noria (also JVM) and
