I'm continue to grow my small SaaS. Hopefully to reach ramen profitability this year. I also have a few other startup ideas to pursue, hopefully one of them can turn into a profitable business :D

Yeah. My fear was irrational like people discussed in my Show HN. I did get eye strain and felt dizzy though.

I built KTool ( https://ktool.io ) — it allows you to forward web articles, newsletters and RSS feeds to your Kindle. --- I did a Show HN 4 months ago[1]. The reason I started KTool was to spend less time on computer screens, and

I see what you did there haha. My most favorite routine now is to subscribe to Hacker News RSS[0] and read top posts on my Kindle. Best of both worlds to me since HN could be quite addictive and unproductive sometimes [0]: https:/

Not exactly “reinventing” bookmarks. But I’ve been working on a micro SaaS[0] to send interesting articles, newsletters and RSS to Kindle. And it kinda “forces” me to actually read those articles, and not just send them into oblivion. If yo

Hard to say. It's definitely more expensive to send emails, yes. But the upside is well worth it IMO. For example, some services allow you to send content at a specific time based on audience's timezone. This increases open rate.

Not the best UX for readers IMO. That defeats the purpose of a RSS "reader".

Segmentation. You can send offer to a segment of your audience. I don't think you can do that with RSS unless you have a sophisticated setup where each reader has a slightly different feed url.

I think the reason RSS is not appealing to content creators is because authors don't "own" the email list. And it's quite difficult to have paid content delivered via RSS (still pretty much open/sharable) But from r

In previous startup, we develop a virtual deal room where each prospect has their own private deal page. We use Page Visibility API to gauge how focus/interest the prospect is about a particular deal package.

Not sure. I built this app[0] in 3 days[1], and it was basically a copy 1:1 from an old project. It was on an old version of React Native and many dependencies were the same. I ran into no issues at all. Maybe it's because of your comp

It’s amazing to see you’re building and growing Ubidrop, Alex. I spent a few months using Android and then went back to iPhone because it’s so hard to get Android OS working with MacOS. So many incompatible or non-smooth integrations betwee

It was exactly me a couple of years ago. KTool has the free-forever plan that you could send a few articles per month. I believe this fits you perfectly. TBF, nobody wants to pay 4 bucks a month for 3-4 articles. But once you developed the
