I would go even further and use the same provisioning on vagrant as on my production servers so I could set up a mini production environment with whatever dev tools are necessary with just a single command. Recently they added the ability t

In the case of any debugging in your IDE, you'd want to use remote debugging (which, I believe, rubymine supports). Otherwise, I'd connect to the virtual machine via ssh and debug there.

I still don't understand how people treating bitcoin as an investment rather than a currency is a fundamental flaw in the algorithm.

I did a back of the napkin calculation the other day to see if a botnet could reasonably reach the 50% computing power required to overwrite transactions. The largest known botnet (BredoLab @ 30,000,000 bots) with modest hardware could have

I've ran into this bug before with a dotted border along with a border-radius on an element. This bugged the hell out of me and I was in contact with a friend from the IE team who was also debugging it. Finally isolated it to a small piece

I believe the term you're looking for is a commodity. Keep in mind that commodity based currencies (like gold) have existed for thousands of years. Bitcoin acts more like a commodity than these because there's a specific upper limit on the

I'd be willing to bet that in the real world a corner is actually the worst choice. It may be the most likely to get blank spaces, but its probably also more likely to box you in, and only gives you one direction of attack.

There's a couple reasons that's not ideal. The big one is that you'd lose filter chaining. With your example you couldn't do Todo.objects.high_priority().incomplete() The other issue is a semantic one. In your example you could do:
