In good faith, I am sure, however this is one of the most pristine tracks of land on Kauai. Lack of development is a good thing here.

Yes that is the point. He will get blackballed. It is a small community ;) The way it works is if you come with aloha people will embrace you. Or own up to your mistakes and people may forgive. If you come in like this, things can get ugly.
