5 small rental properties should make me feel rich and secure. The income from 3 should be enough, but with 5 comes “low risk” part.

I do my assemblies by myself. It’s faster and more convenient during prototyping stage. While the boards alone cost 400€, with assembly it might cost 4000€. First revision has errors and it’s a waste of 4000€ then. I can recommend in German

The fuses are used in older installations. 25 A 500 V rated fuses are absolutely normal parts. They are usually slower than breakers. Breakers came later. The “normal electrician’s” fuses: https://ep-us.mersen.com/sites/

In addition to other things I am certified electrician in Germany. Your claims are wildly oversimplified. Every fuse has a type, rating and trip current. I pick them by planned application, installation type and cable length. Copper cables

Amazon is a gamble. Buying (and returning) is very convenient. But the goods are sometimes not very good quality. I wouldn’t buy food or critical installation parts from there. Some weird brands are totally fine for consumables. Others are

All the parts from Mouser or Digikey are good. It takes time to find your favorite vendors, parts and most enjoyable datasheets. Part picking process is very time consuming.

You need to book communication and/or good sales course. As CTO you’re into politics, not into tech. Ability to communicate clearly and steer the conversation is your skill number one. Tech background is nice to have, but not really us

GPS spoofing might be a solution when such problem occurs. Just make the electronics think, the train moves along equator at 30 mph. I assume the malicious software does not check if train moves on some tracks or just moves.

Scooter batteries barely undergo any testing -> typical consumer product. I wish, that from oversees imported products would get safety and environmental labels. The consumers should somehow be educated. That one week after buying landfi

Tesla has some recommendations in user manual. I almost bought model y. So I saw, that there is recommendation to check brakes after winter and salty roads or something alike. I also guess, that any other repair shop could do generic check

And without wind it’s 53 MW from coal. Even more with increased demand for heat pumps and electric vehicles in not far future. Here in Munich I constantly get warning about wind gusts from my warning apps. This windy period imho is not usua

I see clear pattern. Some guys now tell you: self driving is around a corner, the cars are safe. We know how it ended with chemicals from 30 years ago. DDT is a good example of it both for Western world as well for soviet union. 30 years fr

I work in aerospace industry now. Trust me, the amount of hardware stored for decades ongoing projects is shocking. Storages are full, basements are full. Labs and offices slowly turn to storages too. Once you throw it away, there is no way

The cars delivered at the beginning of 2023 don’t have ultrasound sensors anymore. One can’t buy them from Tesla. And aftermarket solutions are ugly and/or with less sensors. This is an absolute show stopper for me.
