Thank you, if you want to help me out let me know :). I'll look into it, it's more along the lines of patreon/similar being a way to gauge interest and not a way to live off developing it right now.

Completely agree, I've started making my own open source lightweight version https://github.com/lnenad/probster It's golang + gtk so it uses 30MB of ram. I've made a website https://probster.c

I had the same experience with Adidas in Europe. I went through 3 rounds of remote interviews, then went to Herzogenaurach for an onsite, two days, then nothing. I understand if they didn't like me or they liked someone more, but ghost

It hurts to face this fact but exactly. As an eng manager my interview focus is to find a good personality. We don't do this by asking questions about personality, but by watching how the interviewee responds to questions, how they han

Two of those are not like the other. Having queues in your system is most of the time a good decision. Decoupling workloads, buffering jobs, distributing workload, all of those are great benefits and with queues you get them all with an ext

Imho in a certain manner I get what you're saying and I kind of agree up to a certain point, but having an issue when somebody uses the word paralyzed out of physical context is not how we achieve greatness nor is having an issue with

You can also do it in one golang file. Or one python file. Or one nodejs file. With PHP you have more moving parts, Apache/Nginx with their configuration and then the PHP script. With golang/rust/python/nodejs you have d
