Not only repairability, but the battery can't be changed not even by paying Apple to do it. And with such a tiny battery, cycles will accumulate rapidly, degrading its performance. I understand that a lot of folks don't care about

That's not necessarily correct, it would depend of the implementation. See my reply.

After a quick research* , the conclusion I arrive at is that Moxie stretched the truth. Removing PushKit functionality does not removes the ability for apps to do E2EE messaging. From what I understood: with PushKit, it's possible to s

I don't understand this commentary by Moxie. Why does removing PushKit functionality removes the ability for apps to do E2EE? The only thing I can think of, is notifications maybe not being encrypted? But that seems like a bit of stret

It's curious that, to me, it only happens with a Gmail account I have. Other accounts (GMX, iCloud, Office365) work without hiccups.

It's my understanding that not all of the parts are readily available and that Apple and others actually engage in making it hard to get some parts. This results in some parts having to be extracted from "bad" boards and such

Thank you! This is amazing. I've recently started getting back into electronics and am learning how synthesizers work. This comes in handy. The simplicity of the circuit and the richness of sound is really mind blowing to me.

Just recently I learned that Japan is not the only country that hunts whales. It seems Norway also does it and to a larger scale. This isn't an excuse for Japan, just sharing this info for others that might unaware that Japan isn'

If X people send to an address and then the amount is distributed by a different number of outputs (for example 3 addresses for 1 person, 4 for another, etc) you can see how it can make hard to track down who has what.
