How does she know what is "normal"? That was my point - nobody is "rejecting her reality". There are simply some ads that don't appeal to her, as happens to everybody else, too. How can she blame the algorithms for

But why should a couple of good years get a company into trouble? It is inevitable that sales can not always stay as high. I could understand if NVidia would have done some kind of investment that was only sustainable if the good times woul

So actually having a couple of years of extremely good sales is bad for companies, if they are registered on the stock market? I have trouble processing that information.

Yeah whatever - you have it all figured out, right? You seem to trust the government. Are you a Trump fan? Not saying it would be a bad thing. Just pointing out that governments aren't perfect.

She said it is a "rejection of her reality", which is complete hyperbole. I can't find the original comment to check the exact words she used.

Arguably ICOs were a use case that was popular at least for a while. Saying it doesn't have any real uses sounds like the IBM guy who estimated the demand for computers to be about two or three globally.

If you think Ethereum is a way to buy (inefficient) computation, you have completely misunderstood what it is. As for fundamentals, it is obviously a technological product, with people working on improving it and building services based on

We certainly don't know the full story, so I am not giving an absolute judgement. It was just a guess. I have to say that the mother is using her daughter for her articles is already a huge red flag to me. Especially since according to

Discovering the fake perfected Instagram version of her daughter. Maybe she couldn't deal with the not-so-perfect normal life daughter, and that is why said daughter shut her out. Maybe not - but after "ruining" the Led Zeppe

It seems to work well enough for at least some use cases, no matter how low the number of transactions. Further developments like Lightning Network are being worked on to enable other use cases. I don't like if they burn coal for it, b

I had to look up "egregious", and as a foreign speaker, I am afraid I don't see a significant difference to "worst". The argument made was that time travelers would go through the effort to punish miners, of all peo

Seriously? Are you sure they are worst "wasters" of energy on the planet right now? What about cars, and eating meat, and Christmas lights, and so on? Have you checked your own energy consumption today?

Thanks - interesting read. But it is still just one of many doomsday scenarios. I've already survived several of them (for example the hole in the Ozone layer and global nuclear war), so I am vary of getting depressed over yet another

I rarely ever see my desktop, because apps are usually maximized. Doesn't everybody do that? What kind of apps did people use back in the day when desktops weren't hidden all the time? Maybe the idea was to occasionally quit apps
