i think this is a terrible assumption to make. the computer or phone a kid gets from their parents has nothing to do with their curiosity, intelligence, interests or ambitions.

yes, i tend to agree with the passion-part of this. use your free time to do things that excite you, things that motivate you. a job is a job. you need it to pay the bills. if you can do a job that pays well and you can work in reasonable

yeah, indeed, strange.. I always use Gimp in those situations. I'm fairly fluent in Inkscape and cropping images is not something I would use it for.
