Yep, we have bunch of incompatible formats and tons of legacy documents and systems, but I'm 100% sure that me is not a person to blame for that.

CSV is format for information interchange. General rule for II formats is: be strict in what you emit, be liberal in what you accept. So, yes, follow RFC4180 strictly in your own code, but be able to read CSV files produced by others too. S

Much easier solution is to develop a standard for meta-field, which will describe CSV features used. Example: #!CSV: escape=:\\', quote='"', quotealg='c-like', separator='\t', eof='\n\r

pinfo is better than info for viewing info pages, but I agree: nobody looks at info pages. It's much easier to google documentation than to navigate to it in info.

I had small conversation with man from Iraq. AFAIK, they blame West for supplying Iraq (and others) with chemical fabrics and reagents. I.e. they blame West for CW they gave to Iraq, which then used as excuse to attack Iraq. It's commo

Why not use C instead? I see no benefit to use complicated language which cares about errors and then completely ignore that care.

With proper error handling instead of unwrap(), which means "I don't care about errors here".

Every unwrap() is the point, where you need to check return value for an error, unless you are writing one-time code. If you don't care about errors, don't use Rust. Use C instead. Simple solution.

C is one of first high level languages. If someone is not educated well, it is his problem. It's possible to do low-level stuff in C, e.g. by inline assembler, but it does not makes C low level. Low level languages lacks abstractions,

C programmers are not thinking that C is low level language. ;-) Assembler language is low-level language, because it is not portable between architectures. C is high-level language, because it's portable. It's means that one C la
