Yea… this is like a high school level DB class test problem, but you’d be surprised how many adult developers don’t stop to think about DB stuff…

I’d imagine mostly because, at least with some jobs, a dead parrot could be successful because the success was tied to other things (luck, founder connections, a few great sales/devs, etc).

I find this depends on the class sizes etc that affect the teachers’ willingness to work in more interesting/creative things. It’s hard to come up with creative projects and help/manage/grade them for 35 kids, but it’s gre

That’s what happens when you hire a full time person to do what should amount to 8 hours a week. They go looking for ways to show value, and often that just causes everyone else to have more work too. Usually it’s places where the projects

If you don't already know how to code, then it wouldn't be easy. Development isn't just another kind of job you can get trained for (unless you make very little and do things that would get outsourced). It's a skill t

It’s also BS. Companies have branding and PR teams because they know it matters for profits. The issue with meta, twitter, etc is their real customers are advertisers. They can piss off users, and just pretend some % of bots are users.

I find it’s more that people suck at listening, not communicating. IT people will happily explain if you ask and listen, but frankly most people dont like to feel dumb for asking questions. When was the last time a manager asked you what

They will, but it depends on previous work/level. The range is because they’ll hire you in for a position at your ideal level, not necessarily for the position you actually applied for.

I have noticed there are certain job titles that will pigeonhole you… if you’re going for a development position then never put anything QA or TPM on the résumé. Ie make sure the resume is tailored to the job.
