Yep, I've recently used Vue instead of React and I hate the magical templating system. Slots, magical rules for variable scoping etc. The templating is IMO way worse than JSX. I don't care for React one bit, but IMO JSX is the hig

The dates were known in advance - however, the Node.js team expected OpenSSL 3 to be out before the release of Node 16, but it didn't happen - so they had to release with OpenSSL 1.1.1. I think that there was some minor hope of maybe u

I think that this is a quite harsh. The EOL for Node 16 is more than a year away, there's a good reason for the EOL change, and Node 18 will be LTS almost a year by then.

It's quite easy to understand how face-masks reduce the amount of saliva that's released into the air in a room when someone coughs or talks, and there's also a reason why masks are used in hospitals and in operating rooms wa

The result looks relatively weak IMO. The numbers are less impressive then what they seem, and IMO the numbers look like they were computed in a way that resulted in what the authors wanted. For example, weekly counts of cardiac arrest call

And the article states clearly: "[the Core i9-9900KS] does pull out ahead in a number of ST tests as well as in low resolution (CPU-bound) gaming." Regarding the geomean, they clearly state that their benchmarks prioritize multi-c

First of all, the 9900k doesn't cost half the money. Second, you can also buy a 3900x if you want 12 threads with similar ST characteristics and pricing closer to the 9900k. There are other options. If you want to game @ 1080p and do m

You could just buy a CPU for a third or fourth of the price if you want to just browse. You don't need a $750 16-core CPU. You can buy a $200 9600KF or a $240 3600x or something even cheaper. For anything multi-core the 3950X blows the
