What language is that? I usually fail at glass doors when PUSH and PULL labels are transparent so that I read "PUSH" and (reverse) "PULL" simultaneously.

If the sexual funniness stems from the library the team is using, then the awkwardness can be addressed in a team meeting well in advance. Perhaps resulting in a only-one-joke-a-day policy or changed pronunciation (e.g. AnAl like "analgesic

When I was 8, I insisted on buying a little book containing a collection of toilet stall graffiti sayings. I didn't get half of them, yet merrily recited them. And look where I am now, happily employed software developer with >=1000 kar

They describe they had to get several concrete walls and a metal cabinet between themselves and the Raspi before reception stopped, so I'd say too high.

According to http://apc.io/specifications/ , the third product is called "8750", which somewhat damages the pun. But seeing that the Paper has an accessible JTAG port, they could really sell a JTAG adapter under the "Scissors" name.

Actually, if you're switching themes anyway, could you choose one in which the archive is more prominent? I couldn't find one, and usually the archive is where I go to find out whether the blog is relevant to me.

Apparently, you can build yourself a netbook with PixelQi's transmissive-reflective display of the OLPC. Not quite paper, but at least black&white without backlight. http://www.engadget.com/2010/07/19/how-to-install-pixel-qis-...

If the epaper display involves white and black pigments travelling physically through an oil droplet, then I doubt that the lifetime of a pixel is infinite. Can't find lifetime specs on eink.com, though, only a claim that 90% of the display

Another Python blog engine: https://github.com/ametaireau/pelican I'm using it for a new-baby-picture-proud-parents blog (which I won't link to due to its private nature). It's not very feature-rich, but it gets the job done.

If you're not committed to using precisely the curses library for the text UI, there is also Newt[1], a front-end to Slang. It was used in the text-based installer of Red Hat Linux. I once used it for a one-off Python script and it was OK.

Another reason to use xor: in the old days, ALU reg-reg commands were generally faster than reg-mem moves. The 8086 assembly tutorial book I used then recommended to use "sub ax, ax" instead because it was less surprising.

I'm from a country where checks are mostly dead since the 90s, so I'm puzzled about the business this spam is for: isn't it your bank's job to issue you checks, printed on security paper? How does this work?
