Which is not the default that Docker uses :( One more reason to switch to podman, which has sane defaults.

This is also nice for breaking in/out of Docker containers with bind mounts.

See my other comment - the law is about access codes like SIM PUKs and drive encryption keys, not passwords.

There is no law in Germany (or anywhere else that I'm aware of) that would compel a company to do this.

I just spent almost an hour reading the drafts in question and converting documents back and forth to provide an English translation and a summary of what exactly the proposed changes are in a comment below, and this makes me a bit sad sinc

GitHub is still quite annoying to use compared to something like Phabricator. - The diff viewer is bad at showing intraline diffs and whitespace changes. I often check out branches just to be able to view the diff in IntelliJ, which is much

It's still a security risk – code is running in the ME that can be exploited locally. Without vPro or with remote management and the network stack turned off there's a much smaller (probably close to zero) remote attack surface. W

Basically, the museum's defenses are: 1. In Germany, photographs of public-domain art are copyrightable. They assert that this extends to 3D scans, which are similar in nature, and that the scans are not in the public domain. The situa

So what you're saying is, you don't handle different monitor resolutions. My team is split between people with 4k or even 5k screens and wide-angle screens with lower pixel densities, so this would be an issue. Not sure how common

Excellent idea, brilliantly executed. But as a CTO, I would be concerned about the security implications. It makes sense to route traffic via a central server because P2P does not scale to large numbers of participants (which is why things

Phabricator's ticketing system is excellent, and it's fully open source. Probably the best open source project management tool out there. It's also very easy to self-host.

Quay is unrelated to podman (and has been open sourced last week, I think). podman is not intended to be used by k8s/k3s, it's only for interactive container usage. k8s uses cri-o.
