I also hate AMP and its getting harder and harder to avoid. I created a hosts file that blocks as many AMP domains as I can find. Personally, I would rather not read an article then to visit an AMP site. If you are interested, here is the A

I found an article about the ongoing Six4Three case in CA [1]. From the article: > David Godkin, Six4Three’s lead counsel said: “We believe the public has a right to see the evidence and are confident the evidence clearly demonstrates th

I didn't realize it was an AMP link until I clicked and saw that it had been blocked. I have a growing hosts block list specifically for AMP hosts. If anyone else wishes to block some AMP hosts, here is the link: https://git

My comment is on the loss of privacy. I am not an aggressive driver and I suspect that I might get a discount if I joined one of these programs, but I value my privacy too much for that. I do not want my every move monitored by my insurance

I agree that this is a glaring omission. Car insurance companies already have monitoring devices you can plug into your ODBII connector that monitors all your driving behavior. OnStar also has the ability to report driving behaviors to insu

I'm also a Firefox and DDG user and I agree that the re-captcha issue is big. Between a pi-hole, uMatrix, and cookie-autodelete I'm able to seriously limit Google's impact on my daily browsing, but there is no way around the

As far as I know, the pi-hole maintainers do not maintain any of the default block lists. I maintain a list [1] that is then feed into the popular host list by Steven Black [2] - which is a default list. I definitely do not want to break th

I love CT logs! I use them to discover subdomains for my hosts file block list [1]. While it can't expand on domains that use wildcard certs - or no certs at all - it's better then nothing since hosts files don't support wild

I think you might have missed the point of my comment. If you block AMP scripts, you will definitely encounter broken sites. The point I was trying to make are that those broken sites are mostly junk anyways. Overloaded with ads, tracking,

I block AMP and its related domains in my aggressive blocking hosts list[1]. I've found many AMP related sites are purely for marketing, or 'news' articles that are thinly veiled ads. I haven't missed it at all. I also d

AMP is terrible. I flat out block it in my hosts file and haven't missed it yet. Its pretty much just used for advertising anyway. Or for 'news' articles that are thinly disguised ads

That is like saying Facebook does not own the content uploaded to it. These analytic tools are the ones doing the collection, at the end of the day it is their data that they allow you to use.

I believe the point of the article is that the data belongs in 3rd party hands. You might not be doing anything nefarious with the data, but that data does not belong to you and it is outside of your control to protect your users. Given IP

Personally, I value my privacy more than the small amount of time tweaking my search query to get the results I actually wanted vs. the out-of-context results I got. I think anyone using DuckDuckGo is of the same opinion. When you think abo

Hey, great question! Well, I don't know why other people might need this plugin, but I needed to gather data from a dynamic user-editable table. Its not all that complicated getting data from an HTML table, but my specific table is dyn
