If the roles were reversed, I would have a similar criticism of the other guy. Clearly, the loser didn’t want to pay because he contested it in court — and the victor could have forgiven the debt. I wouldn’t even make my friend pay me back

I think there is small class of founders who fail and end up better off than their employees but it is not the majority of cases. If you factor in resume/connections/experience, that number is certainly higher -- but that seems fa

You are definitely right for CEOs of large companies. But for small (aka most) businesses, including startups, you might be surprised. It’s also important to note that some business owners don’t have the luxury of being able to cut their ow

I think it’s counter-productive. He is making this seem like a huge sacrifice when, in fact, it’s par for the course. I wish if he wanted to talk about it, he would make it less about himself and more about “what it takes to run a business”

Almost everyone I know who has run a business (myself included) has made similar sacrifices. This is not that rare. This guy seems to serially try to generate PR by making himself out to be a selfless CEO. In doing so, he is implying that m

Ah yes, life’s biggest questions. Do we have free will? Is there an objective reality? Why have a tablet instead of a highly portable touch screen laptop? Instead of answering that, I will just say that I am only suggesting improvements on

As an iPad Pro user, I don’t feel that it needs a trackpad. It needs better software (and better keyboard hardware — which is coming along with the trackpad, thankfully). I want to be able to use it to type long-form essays and develop apps

Well, if you are resorting to VMWare/VirtualBox -- you might as well use WSL, since it's just a VM optimized for OS integration. Wine, OTOH, is a runtime, not a VM... and I've personally never been able to get it to work (I&#

In my opinion, even that is not sufficient. In most cases, decentralization will only succeed if its architecture gives a significant advantage over the alternative centralized one. Let’s say you make a social network that people don’t need
