Would a website dedicated to providing IP addresses to websites whose domains were seized be seized? Just have a directory on an IP-address-accessed server and you've circumscribed the law. Nevertheless, this law is farking redonkulous. Are

This sentiment is how I felt about Grails a while back. I think the big issue is versioning. Learn it! A.B.C Changes in C denote bugfixes, small changes, etc. Changes in B denote feature additions/deprecations, non-API breaking changes, etc

The baiting headline about "winning the net" is really annoying. I really, truly doubt any one company will own the Internet. Google has tons of fiber, a cache of a ton of the Internet already, maps of the entire planet, algorithms that can

I use HTTPS everywhere and it seems to work. Facebook chat doesn't, though. I don't like using GMail too much, but I'll be damned if I let Facebook see anymore of what I communicate than what it does now.

Glanced through the wiki; I didn't see much about its amazing journalistic past that sets it apart from today. Wired is a geeky magazine with sensationalist headlines that nevertheless can be interesting most months. Once again, a woman is

As someone who does go to parties, if some girl were sitting in laps and laying across people, etc., she should not be surprised if a guy makes a move. Now, the guy should have known she was probably not specifically interested in him, sinc

I will be so bold as to say this: I doubt there are many places in Texas where this would have happened without those kids getting arrested, or barring that, being rightfully assaulted. When one attacks another's person and property, one sh

Why is it troubling for a company or organization to do what's in their best interest? Ubuntu's goals do not seem to be nefarious, and almost everything they're pushing for the community is open-source, except Ubuntu One and the Software Ce

Where do you work? If you're allowed to say, I'm always interested in hearing about Linux deployments, much less Ubuntu and/or professional "desktop" Linux usage. There should be an Ubuntu testimonials website... Weekend project?
