Technically, the full SRBs were never (to my knowledge) re-used. Because of the salt water damage, they were parted out and some of those parts were used in new engines.

I think the primary difference is the level of escalation. Protests typically involve destruction of property with violent interpersonal encounters as collateral, while terrorism usually involves torture or mass killings.

It's more that your computer should be considered compromised regardless if you allow someone to gain physical access to it. You should know where your device is at all times. I'm not willing to throw away my device's resale

Lag is not an issue for the listener, it's an issue for the performer. An extra 10ms of lag when wearing headphones and playing a keyboard can make you feel completely disconnected from your instrument.
