Should have mentioned: data is based on the 'Who is hiring' thread of the previous month. In the future I'm planning to add more data for previous months/years as well and maybe get jobs from other sources too.

You working on a commercial project means that they can implement your solution and get money from it, so it'd be fair that you'd be compensated for your work. I'd ask to be paid for the amount of work that I'd be doing
