I'm impressed by how clean this functionality is. Definitely less annoyed by the waste of space now!

This is an interesting bit of information. I sometimes find that an equation is harder to read after breaking it in many parts due to the 80 columns limit. It seems there is a compromise to make between the readability of single statements

It would be nice to have a panel inside Google Reader which would display only the G+ material shared from Google Reader - although I doubt they will do it that way. Anyhow, they surely will find a way to screw things up :P

As long as we get the possibility to view the count of +1s/-1s separately, I'm all for this.

I meant to say that I never used Google Reader's sharing mechanisms. Those features of Google Reader (friends, sharing) were useless dupes of other features present elsewhere on other websites (Facebook, Google+, Twitter). I already have en

I don't expect any of the core features of google reader to change. Why would they? Sure, sharing and friends will be replaced by Google+ variants, but to me that sounds like a good thing. Instead of copying articles and pasting them into G

After watching a game or two, I can tell that ants should always travel two by two for warmonging. When two ants (walking together on the same front) encounter a single ant, the one ant is always destroyed.

Nice game overall, looks promising! You probably play (have played) other rogue-likes - have you tried dungeon crawl recently? It's getting pretty awesome, look it up : http://crawl.develz.org/wordpress/ You can play by ssh anytime at jos

Here's what annoyed me while playing for a minute or two: - Ask for a confirmation before letting a spellcaster cast a fireball on himself (mistakes). - When casting an offensive spell, place the target cursor automatically on enemies, allo

It is also available on B&N in ePub format. There seems to be a free sample as well, didn't look at it though. I noticed one funny thing while browsing the B&N site, in the "People who bought this also bought" section : http://imgu

For what I know that's still a challenge for developers, they most often seem to make two distinct types of area: -Outdoors, where there are no concavities in the landscape and elevation models are used. -And indoors, where you use a differ

If apple is able to demand a preliminary injunction against the Xoom tablet like it was for the Galaxy, there is no reason why they should refuse it. Monopoly acquired!

To me this sounds a bit scary. Is the Galaxy Tab really that similar to the IPad? What about the Xoom? If the Galaxy is banned, why should the Xoom/Asus Transformer be excluded?

What is the difference between this book and the one by Matthew Crawford, "Shop Class As Soulcraft"? Is it worth reading both?

I disagree with your #1 reason. When I visit a project page, I most often only want to know what the hell the project is about.

I bet the author got exactly what he aimed for, which is a lot of traffic. This type of news writer intentionally aims for such sensationalistic headlines, even though they end up dis-informing people (one great example of this is Fox news)

Right. I don't see so much G+ noise on Reddit though, perhaps because Hacker News is smaller.

I love Google+ so far, but I think this notification in all google sites is overkill. I'll be one of those looking for ways to disable that notification area.

That's exactly what happened with Wave for me as well, but I wonder if the same will happen to Google+? I didn't really see a use for Google Wave... it was just so awkward...

I doubt that's how the circles will work in final. Google uses labels much more than folders for classifying stuff (e.g. gmail).

Extremely well done. I didn't bother reading about all the features, but the demo made me go through all of it. I'm now excited about instant photos. Success, google. I liked the huddle text input, you don't choose what gets written... pogo

I actually ran that piece of code. Sure was glad it was only on a test partition. I did lose some trust in the developers after this, but I tried bumblebee again later and am happy I did because it works great! I forgive them.
