Most visually disabled people retain some usable vision. The levels for qualifying for a driver's license are different than the definition of legally blind. For instance, my state requires vision correctable to at least 20/40 in

20/200 means that a person with that level of vision is able to read something from a 20 foot distance that someone with 20/20 vision would be able to read from 200 feet away.

I have a condition called juvenile retinoschisis. It's very similar to macular degeneration. My overall vision varies between 20/80ish and 20/120ish depending on the day. After having around ten different surgeries to correct

As a visually impaired person please don't. I like being able to resize text and still have the document flow properly instead of endlessly scrolling back and forth.

I am disabled actually and they haven't been super helpful with accomodations. Seems really hard to make a case out of though. Feels like if i went to HR they would just find some other reason to fire me.

I should also add that i have spoken with the girl that had the position before me and this individual is 100% the reason she left as well. It got so bad that she was openly sobbing at her desk most days from his treatment of her.
