I would like a Grammarly alternative too. In addition to the annoying upsell stuff, their little widget blocks some text inputs and I have to disable it to make the site usable.

Looks interesting. You have a bunch of typos on your homepage. You should get that reviewed and cleaned up.

I was just curious. I'm doing fine myself but it's always interesting to learn how people find their opportunities.

We use Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare KV Store for https://appflags.io/ It gives us around 100ms load time for our SDKs anywhere in the world even on cold boot.

Is it possible you're making the common error of wanting to build something new? It's pretty awesome that you've got something making $1600/mo without any proper marketing. It seems insane to me to abandon that effort fo

It wouldn't surprise me either if something like half of Reddit's traffic was Google constantly crawling them.

What are your majoring in? I'm curious because if it's something like electrical engineering, you might not want to go the VM route as you'll need to hookup test equipment and such to your computer.

Some games use torrents to distribute the bandwidth for updates. Some server applications use torrents to sync large files across many servers.

Looks interesting. I think your site is missing some information. What auth service does it use? What BaaS does it use? How easy is to publish to the Apple and Android stores? Can I also make a website out of it or just mobile? It would be

We're just somewhat sophisticated apes and we've built a world that our brains aren't designed to handle. Of course we all have anxiety.

I feel that way about sites that are only email/password. I don't trust them to have good security so I'd much rather use a third party provider. Good to have choice though.

This is how I do it. Everything is in GitLab and I mirror a few repos to GitHub for public consumption and issue tracking.

Good to know. Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about building my own price comparison site in another niche. How are you scraping the data right now?

I've worked at large companies that do both B2B and B2C. B2C gets 90% Google logins, 10% email logins, and small amounts of Twitter, Facebook, Microsoft, etc logins. B2B is different. I forget the numbers but you get more email logins,

Did you have a hard time getting into the Amazon affiliate program? Last time I saw a post like this it seemed the consensus was that a price comparison site didn't have enough content for Amazon to let you use the affiliate program.

Make yourself know to the buyer. They might contract you for future fixes. I helped work on a startup a few years ago that changed ownership. Like you're saying, documentation wasn't great. After hiring devs to work on it that cou

I'm a firm believer that you can only dedicate yourself to effectively doing a few things at a time. I have a big side hustle and a tiny side hustle. I switch between them to avoid getting burned out. If you try to do too many things,

I pay for YouTube premium and Nebula which both let me download videos. I use it to save videos for when I travel. I also sometimes live off grid with a Starlink and I'll download videos so I can turn Starlink off to save power.

There are companies that hire non-traditional developers with the understanding that they need a little time to ramp up. Traditionally a CS student out of college would be a level 1 (aka junior developer). I've seen companies that crea
