Sounds mostly fixable except SoC faults, but even that could be gathered from highly broken boards with healthy SoCs, I believe.

I've tried thinking hard on the second video. I guess most confusion comes from as it doesn't explain why traction situation (where wheel speeds up relatively) is different than the actual turn (where wheel slows down relatively).

I have to disagree.. Not everyone has enough time to learn "ready" systems either, they can get pretty overwhelming. When I decide to build instead of buy, it's mostly because I don't believe in the design of the product

Afaik standard graphics on cloud hw is not that easy to get today unless you pay for ML instances. However, local hw have better leverage probably.
