Kudos to officer Garcia. I don’t know many people who still bring that kind of responsibility to their job. So much easier to just follow the rules. Even among judges I know only very few who have the guts to make an actual judgement, which

Can’t we do thing where you just tell all these stories to a voice recording app on your phone. And then we use GPT/Whisper to transcribe and convert it into a book. Not gonna win any fiction award. But sometimes it’s better than a thi

There’s a case right now: Multi million Euro fraud, perpetrated for 10+ years in an organized fashion by husband and wife and some helpers from Saxony. Victims were (and are) senior citizens. The German public broadcast MDR had several stor

If you wrote a book, I’d love to read it. Not a book that glorifies crime. But one that shows us the hidden sides of humanity. The kind of stuff that happens and the kinds of things people do that you will not see on YV, or read about on X.

OpenAI does not strike me as a company that would be naive about this. Didn’t they just recently manipulate the outputs of an endpoint when they realized people were misusing it? (“CatGPT”) The most sinister interpretation is that the logit

How many GBs worth of logits would you need to reverse engineer their model? Also, if it’s a conglomerate of models that they’re using, you’d end up in a blind alley.

Isn’t that the game they all play? Amazon Marketplace. Apple App Store. Let the guinea pigs run. See which one gets the furthest. Then take away its lunch.

Could probably do it with ChatGPT. Take picture of building. Ask what it knows about it. Haven’t tried, but may work for some buildings. No GPS though.

They ask you to read a piece of text, displayed on the screen for a few seconds, and then they compare that voice to the voice of the audio data that you uploaded.

How do they do it? Elevenlabs, AFAIK, requires you to verify your voice. and open source tools like Bark are nowhere near as realistic sounding.

You can have the character description more front and center, if that makes any sense. So instead of diluting attention across three separate character descriptions, your model will see just the chat log and the single description of the pe
