Lot's of exaggerating claiming going on there in your posts. Then you position into some kind of analysis of what I'm assuming and finish with some kinda point totally lost way down five posts later in this argument. I'm gues

I'm unlikely to get mugged where I live, so I guess my advice doesn't work if you live in Gotham City.

I've never done a chargeback. The convenience of cash is immediate, the need to a chargeback, probably insignificant.

Muggers don't have x-ray vision. They can't see that you don't have cash. They're going to mug you no matter what. I don't walk around with a ton of money. If I get mugged I lose a few bucks. If you get mugged you h

Ever since POS hacks on Target and other retailers I've completely switched to cash only. Not only can't you be tracked, something I'm not sure I care about, but it reduces the chances of somebody stealing your card info. And

I'd like to try Unity, but it is just so incredibly expensive. $1,500 bare bones, and more if you want pro add ons.

Atlassian also has BitBucket, which compares pretty nicely with GitHub in terms of ease of use and features, price. GitHub's issue tracker is also a bare bones, minimal feature. They could really make it a lot better. There's no w

I'm not going to answer your question because I feel like what I said (not tried to say, but said) was obvious, but I will point out that things like this kinda throw a wrench into the whole "hg's UI is better than git"

My biggest issues with hg are that hg's revision numbers aren't synchronized across instances, they are local only[1] making them kind of useless, you can't easily have local branches[2], and it stores changesets instead of o

That seems reasonable, but running causes shin and knee injuries. I cannot run without injuring myself. When I did run I ran maybe a few times a week, at reasonable rates for reasonable distances, even using a couch-to-runner guide. My shin

Yeah, well those exercises are not at all appealing to me. Jumping jacks are not for overweight people. Crunches injure your back, etc. In fact, half these exercises look like they risk injury or look like they hurt something in the long ru

I studied anthropology as an undergrad and learned that hunter gathers actually eat very little meat, so that link seems incorrect about eating lots of meat. Animal protein was/is at best something like 30% of their diet. A lot of us h

What's enough exercise? I walk 20 minutes a day. That should be good enough or do I need to turn into a fitness nut and work on strengthening every muscle in my body, eating raw nuts or whatever and run 5 miles a day? Like if the trade

I think there's definitely a localization problem with Unions. If Unions were everywhere and manufacturers had nowhere to run to, we'd probably have a really healthy middle class.

Ok sure, that makes sense, if the qualification is SLAs and the like. I bet RedHat dominates in that case.

If you define an enterprise shop to mean a company that doesn't use software like ubuntu-server, congratulations, you are right, but you have also made a completely meaningless observation.

Based on experience, I think your $8 plan will cannibalize your $22 a plan. The cold hard math of more private projects probably doesn't justify paying 150% more.

This is pretty awesome. A non-PHP CMS is long, long overdue. I know there already are some, but I think the challenge is that non-technical types are still more able to quickly get started by just dragging some PHP into their shared hosting
