This is not going to happen, with current knowledge. Humans still possess creativity, which make them superior. Machines will be performing more and more of dull work, that's for sure.

> You could teach a few speed-reading and self-study courses for an additional cost. IMO, if a book is meant to be speed-read, then it's not a classic of literature. A classic should be tasted word by word, slowly. And reflected upon.

I've been programming mostly in C++ for ten years. There has been a time when I was proud of being knowledgeable about its many intricacies. Nowadays, I don't do that anymore. I recommend you avoid trying to master C++: it's a gigantic wa

Instead of just scores, I'd like to see both how many upvotes and how many downvotes a comment has got. I second the suggestion to colorize the most upvoted or controversial comments. However I think the issue with simple scores is that th

Thank you for your clarification. I don't understand why I have been perceived as argumentative. I've been using Emacs for quite some time now, and before immersing myself into it, and even after, I've compared it to other major editors.

Someone who contributes good code is by no means an asshole. Real assholes are selfish. Maybe some people are rude, that's it, but smart people see beyond rudeness.
