Yeah, I made binds for CTRL+Z/A/C/V/X with the lower modifier so I can use my left thumb + ASDF for them.

Whatttttt how did I not know about this? This is great! I'd definitely subscribe to a Patreon or something to support this project.

I wonder if it's possible to build a defense service to this. Counter PsyOps as a service (if built, social networks should probably build it in for free). Make something that can detect if your stories seem to be manipulated and show

There's no way VR is just a fad. It's unimaginable that our interface with electronics is going to be a 2D screen forever. Yeah, it's clumsy and annoying now, but I don't think it'll be for much longer. The Quest is

I won in December and while it's true that there is score "manipulation" (we've placed pretty high and didn't win. We won at our lowest ranking), I don't think this is a bad thing. Pure voting cannot (right now

How safe is it to setup a VPN (via Wireguard or something) with AWS?

Do people really want to own their data? I'm very skeptical about this.

These occasional hits are basically mathematically impossible. It wouldn't make sense for anyone to run a script to do this. If you were really concerned, you could make a multisig wallet.

I've never used startup banking before, curious what kinda thing people look to do with banking API.

Gray/dark web stuff is different in America/most European countries than in other parts of the world though. Just because something is perfectly legal here, doesn't mean that it's the same elsewhere.

I've been seeing so many Raspberry Pi projects on HN lately. It's great! I just got a Zero W and have a B+ lying around that I don't know what to do with.

Yeah, it's probably somewhat that, though I usually do most of my reading before bed and I'm still not able to concentrate nearly as much as I was able to.

Yeah, I've noticed this too. I used to be able to finish pretty long books in one sitting and be completely absorbed in them, but now I struggle to finish a chapter.

This article uses the common criticism of there already being existing institutions and security systems for money transfer. However, this may be true in well developed countries but it's not true at all in developing countries. IMO, t

More crowdwisdom. Also stops corporations from acting unethically. Consumers will have to start preferring DAOs over regular companies for DAOs to become mainstream unless crowdwisdom has a huge impact.

Yep, that's definitely a concern. There are different voting mechanisms/design systems that help deal with this. Definitely a work in progress though.

Completely agree with this. I was also getting slightly disillusioned with the ecosystem until I attended Grincon and met a bunch of people who were actually interested in building, researching, and exploring new tech.

You are correct with borrowing, I'm not sure what that's about, happy to be enlightened by OP though. Not sure about investments, haven't done too much research into the benefits of ICOs and letting more people invest. I thin

Blockchain hype has definitely decreased over the past few months and as someone who definitely believes in cryptos future, this is a good thing. Get rid of the ICO scammers so that people can focus on building.

I met this guy at a social event once, did not realize who he was and I just read his Wikipedia page. It makes a lot more sense now. He was extremely arrogant and rude. Basically a worse version of the /r/iamverysmart archetype. I

I actually thought that there was some character development (like the Swordholder woman, I forgot her name). It's not "good" development but I think it's there. I also think that other parts of the series make up for it

I think schools just wanted to hop on the latest technology and the easiest way for companies to push that was "instant feedback" or something. They didn't foresee the unintended mental health consequences.

Yeah, I'm in high school right now and they have this system. They also had the same in middle school. There's no way this instant feedback system is mentally healthy. Also, a lot of times, teachers push a 0 as a placeholder grade

I've used Discord for a long time and my previous startup was even part of the Hypesquad program. However, I'm really concerned with their views around E2E encryption. We've asked many times for an end-to-end encryption servi
