This tweet is not at all about understanding stocks and more about how the overall state of the economy is not reflected in the lifestyles of the working class. The working class does not care if the DOW is up and unemployment is down if th

I do find it hilarious that as people we generally hate going to work, but at the same time we also fear losing our jobs. Jobs/careers are a relatively new idea as far as I know, I think we can figure out something to do without them.

They are good at building cars, but I would argue they are not good at building tech. Self driving is a technology issue. If the tech superstars at Waymo/Apple/whoever aren't even close to solving it, why would the software p

Lol no just a big fan and someone who ported one of their cars. Just most of the self driving car news lately seems scammy to me (by that I mean a lot of hype and no product), and I wish more people knew about the actual state of the indus

As far as quality goes it's way more reliable. Most of the "advanced" driver assistance systems would kill you within a minute if you left the car to their control. What they have now is a Devkit that is level 2, which they a

Lol, cash does not equal innovation. Comma.ai has only raised 8~ million and already has a product you can buy today on par ( or better ) with GM's supercruise.

Can you buy any other self driving systems? As far as I know there are only 3 self driving products. Tesla Autopilot, GM Supercruise, and Comma.ai Openpilot. Hard to be in last place vs a product that doesn't yet exist.

A lot of cars have Lane Keep Assist and Automatic Cruise Control, but most are not nearly good enough to rely on. Comma.ai ships a plug and play device that will override the cars software with better software and allow you to do just what

I don't know why you're down voted. People like to shame Amazon/Walmart for their wages and working conditions, but I guarantee they're doing a lot of the exact same things as other companies who are less criticized, Tar

Used to work in Alaska on boats and saw this many nights coming into Seward harbor. It made the entire town (all small buildings) look like mid sized sky scrapers of the same height, even across the horizon, and then it would fade away.

That's one definition I guess. I don't think there's anything inherently negative about the definition of addiction though. People can be addicted to lots of good things.
