when i looked through the JS, it was not written in a way that took size or performance seriously. perhaps it was transpiled from Dart or something. additionally, i think tag manager includes an entire [likely complex] visual DOM tagging UI

yes, 5x is probably off, but 2x is likely typical, even if you create optimizing mutation helpers like setAttrs(el, prevAttrs, nextAttrs)

declarative templates are by no means a ridiculous abstraction. graphics programming, like GLSL shaders dont have to worry about what "was" to represent what "is", they simply rerender the entire scene because it's

bare js, or bare DOM specifically has no way of doing declarative changes. if you're okay writing purpose-specific imperative dom manip logic, it gets quite tedius and long in the tooth. your app that could have been 2k lines with a fr

you're definitely the most qualified to do a js-framework-benchmark implementation. it's pretty odd that this hasnt been done given how much the marketing leans on performance claims. "do your own benchmarks" is too hand

good point. samsung apparently also used to have a kill switch on their S22s with the Exynos cpus in EU (the only models that are unlockable...Snapdragons are not). i have a hard time believing this tho if they permitted unlocking at all. m

typically LineageOS uses the stock binary blobs for cameras, too many trade secrets for Qualcomm, Sony, Samsung etc. to release them as open source. you can bootloader/oem unlock zenphones, though that might wipe DRM keys.

i have that disabled. i mean the physical buttons on the sides. simply gripping the phone is sufficient to press them. really annoying.

it's gonna be between this phone and the xperia 5 iv when it gets released later this year, if rumors are true. still, i wish they still made truely compact phones, like 5" (used to have the sony xperia compacts). also, i can live

i read somewhere recently that this difference in path lengths can be measured in days, depending on distance and how off-center the lensing is.

i always try to ensure my code scales at worst linearly on 10x to 100x the expected data size, or at 1/10th the bandwidth or 10x the latency, or constrained cpu or memory (mobile). pays big dividends in the long run, every time.
