That’s how I watch movies in general. Maybe it’s a symptom of ADHD or lack of interest but I find it hard to remember people’s names and plot reveals that require me to remember to specific locations or details. I just watch movies and enjo

I mean they could technically run all their chips even hotter for more performance but it’s a trade off. Apple probably wants to make their products feel like magic, meaning no noise, fans, or heat-—like the iPad.

Walking where locals walk, getting a feel of the buildings, finding your new favourite restaurant, and even visiting boring strip malls right outside the tourist zones makes for much better memories. It’s even better when you unknowingly wa

Phillips Hue lights are something you think is a luxury until you get them. The ability to have light change colour temperature or dim depending on the time is so calming. Whenever I revert back to the non—colour-temperature-adjusted light,

I agree that there are too many signs in Canada that don’t help because the roads feel like they support higher speeds. I don’t think roads need to be mentally taxing as that just causes fatigue to already tired workers commuting. What you

Whenever I see a bike in a car I assume the person has a lot of free time and therefore is somehow what well-off. Perhaps people were subconsciously judging his wealth?

People already know what bikes are, but until the government starts prioritizing non-car transportation and build convenient cities like the Netherlands, no one will ditch the comfort of a car to ride on a non-protected bike path with nowh

Polestar released a video with similar bullshit. They said their turn signal sound was inspired by nature. They recorded a twig snapping in Sweden. The result nothing special and something you would just create on a computer.

Language is so fluid and used by different people with different connotations of words that I don’t think it’s “preventable” if it is something to be prevented. I see this tug of war of new word as part of the process for finding the best w

This is like asking why should you care about a creaky chair? It works as a chair regardless and you don’t even see it when you are sitting on it. Who cares about sticky castors when you are at your desk for hours at a time?

I hate this about Vancouver and North America. Even if you are lucky enough to live near grocery store, the way the city is designed drains your soul as you walk. There are no beautiful buildings, wide sidewalks, or points of interest alon

Apple Photos and I’m sure many other photo clients has a caption feature that lets you type notes for a picture. I haven’t hit into any character limits so you could presumably write a journal entry for each image.

I too would like a demo. The more I watch less technical or impaired users use computers, the less I take for granted what is “obvious” or “fool-proof”. Dragging and dropping is not intuitive for everyone and is hard if someone doesn’t have

There’s a huge value in not having to untangle wires every time you use headphones even if there is a hit to sound quality. Also having the ability to use one earbud without having the weight of the cable tugging at your ear is underrated.
