The site shows two watches and one of them looks like it has an e-ink display and no OLEDs. The "Digital with 96x96 reflective / always on display technology". That sounds and looks a lot like e-ink. Seiko and others have also released watc

Sounds like an e-ink display, not OLED. On the website it says there are two platform, and for only one of them does it say OLED.

Government monopoly. It's in Australia which has a telco monopoly. Internet is very expensive there. I was there as a tourist and left earlier than planned because it was so hard/expensive to get internet access. In third world countries on

In the EU there are different countries with different cultures and rules. In some countries it is easy to fire people, while in others it's almost impossible. Where it's easy to fire people it's less of a risk to hire people.

If you think that's wasteful - bad news, that's how governments work in general. A good example of the 4 ways to spend money: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RDMdc5r5z8 The way to get a good economy is to get rid of obstacles, not for the

Mac OS X is the only unix based OS that runs Photoshop natively. Macs are the only way to run Mac OS X except if you make a "hackintosh". Linux is not as user friendly and integrated with the hardware as Macs. There are certain apps that ar

Macs "just work" for things where Linux doesn't. Photoshop doesn't run natively on Linux, that's alone is enough for many to choose OS X over Linux. For many people the price difference (if it's there) doesn't matter.

The batteries weigh a lot and require cooling. A Lotus Elise, which the Tesla Roadster is based on, weighs and costs less.

Actually, at least in some countries, the punishment for buying stolen goods is similar to stealing it.

The market is already innovating. The government doesn't create jobs, it just directs resources from one place to another. Yes, it's socialist. The government doesn't have that money anyway, it's running at a deficit.

He's saying the market is better than allocating money than government. If the politicians and bureaucrats are so good at investing, why don't they do it privately instead of working for the government? You are assuming that government is b

To the downvoters: Please answer the question. BMW has made a driverless car too. How is it different?

Car companies have made cars that do that too. No completely autonomous car is on the market though. Not from Google nor anyone else.

Why not? He has had them on the show before. There would have to be a reason for it to be on again though. The driverless lap has already been done. The Google Prius would just be slower.

You can buy cars today that can almost drive by itself. Adaptive cruise control. Automated parking. Lane assist. Automatic braking to avoid accidents. BMW has demonstrated a driverless racing lap on Top Gear before can be seen in the link I

The English language comes from what is now Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands. A lot of influence from Old Norse, which is also what Swedish originates from. Maybe Æ will be a part of English again in 700 years :)

Sweden is a big industrial nation. The relatively free market system allowed them to flourish. In all of the Scandinavian countries the welfare state really didn't start until around the 1960s-1970s. The government programs have only been p

The title is an oxymoron. With socialism, you don't have private ownership of the means of production. Thus you cannot have start-ups with socialism.
